Get It First, But First, Get It Right

Crime, the local school board meeting, severe weather, the events and subjects that truly matter to people, it's news to me. The listener and viewer doesn't know until I find it for them.

I take the events of the day and condense them into a fair, concise, and honest newscast. Whether it's a blurb from the police blotter, or an in-depth feature report on a topic of interest to the public deserves to know what happened and why it is important to them.

Clear, concise writing. Fair and accurate reporting. A voice the public can relate to.

Get it first, but first, get it right.

These are the words I live by as a journalist.

Clear, Concise, Accurate, Fair.
